I got some beautiful hand-spun hand dyed yarn, made by my sister, a proper luxury yarn but very thin, about 2ply. It was perfect amount for a scarf, so here is a a new pattern for soft lacy scarf, not too hot, not too cold, just perfect for all the Goldilocks out there!
You can substitute 2ply with either 3ply or 4ply and use slightly larger hook than recommended to get a nice 3D lace effect!

This scarf pattern is two row repeat and 6 + 3 stitch pattern repeat, it is easily adjustable and can be made any width or length desired.
Start by making a slip knot and chain of 45. If you wish to make your scarf wider, add chains in multiple of 6, if you want to make your scarf thinner, retract chains in multiple of 6.
You will be working in rows, turning your work after each row. Photos of the corresponding row are shown below each row’s written description.
